Though some may fear the negative impact that two decades’ worth of rampant cigarette smoke, black mold, and untreated human waste have had on the patrons and staff of Summers Restaurant, owner Joe Daddy took the time this Earth Day to reaffirm his dedication to the green movement, reminding bewildered passersby that “We went green twenty years ago. See? Green carpet, green walls, green tables, green awnings… you see? Even the bar is green.”
