Mmmm, Zesty!

Is it just me, or are the Buffalo Chicken Strips at Summers really darn good? They are holding a steady lead in the opinion polls over the previously popular Chicken Quesadilla and the always safe Burger and the "they have that here?" Mexican options. As we approach another highly anticipated year of football, I'd recommend everyone try the Buffalo Strips. Zesty!

  1. They are mouth watering. Follow up with a brownie sundae and you'll forget that it took 20 minutes to find your game on local tv.

  2. The Mexican options are dwindling, mi amiga. Remember when they used to have that burrito with slices of cheese awkwardly half-melted on top of the tortilla? That thing was actually pretty good. And the fajitas - do they even have those anymore? I can't recall hearing that distinctive sizzle of burnt thumb skin lately. But maybe I've been too occupied trying to keep track of the seemingly infinite parade of failed slider experiments. Did you know that sliders are mini-burgers? Joe Daddy can pierce a stack of cucumber-lamb sliders with a javelin at two hundred paces. Blindfolded. It's because he can smell the mint jelly all the way over there.

  3. If you eat the zesty wings, please wash your hands before touching me because Sonny won't wash me for another three weeks.

  4. Sliders are mini-burgers? I thought Sliders would have been an homage to the mid-90s television series starring Jerry O'Connell. I agree on the menu changes though, they seem to occur more often than SNL changes unfunny cast members.

  5. I actually had to reference the Summers website and sit through the painfully long scroll to see when these Bad Boys of Burgers were served...turns out, only late nights. No problem here, my games are only on late nights - and that's the perfect time to eat Sliders, the food that makes you feel like a giant (or the only sandwich that fits in my child-sized hands).

  6. Games, eh? So, you're a goer, eh? Nudge, nudge, wink, wink.
